The Asian Festival of 1st Films is back in Singapore for the fourth year with a collection of nominated films gathered around the world. The AFFF is the world’s only film and documentary festival celebrating first-time film makers.
Festival director Sanjoy Roy commented, “We recognize the best of international first-time filmmaking” in “Singapore, which provides the perfect location to play host to the Festival.”
Eric Khoo’s My Magic will be representing Singapore in this year’s line-up as it has been nominated in the category Best Actor. In the film, Bosco Francis delivers a emotional performance as a drunken father who turns to magic in an effort not to lose his son.
